Magpul ACS-L vs Magpul MOE fixed stock

I'm finishing up my 6.8 hunting/target rifle build, and had thought I decided on the Magpul MOE fixed stock but stumbled across the ACS-L. It looks extremely similar in shape but is adjustable. I also haven't ordered my scope mount yet so I could go 2" or 3".

Setup is:

Anderson lower
PSA MOE defender LPK
Magpul MOE grip
Anderson upper
ARP 16" Socom barrel w/ vortex hider
ARP 6.8 BCG
ALG 13" FF handguard
Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x24 scope
Vortex mount 2" or 3"(open to opinions)

Like I said, I'm stuck on going fixed or collapsible between these two stocks.

Thanks in advance for your opinions.

I have both, and I prefer them for different roles. I like the fixed MOE for stand/blind hunting where I dont have to carry it a ton. I get a great cheek weld, and does better for more precision shooting because I feel it is more stable (whether it is remains to be seen). I run the ACS-L on my 68, and I love it as well. It does give adjustability, but I'm not sure the "fit" is any better for me. I like it because it because it's not terribly heavy, and it's easy to walk around with. Honestly, it's 6 of one, half-dozen of another. Both are great options, can't go wrong.

I'm planning on deer hunting and predator hunting with it. Mostly sitting in a stand or blind. Some walking but not a tremendous amount. My .22 has the same LOP as the fixed MOE and i can shoot it from about any position comfortably. Would you say you can shoot as comfortably with the ACS-L as the MOE?
Fixed stock with the superb ALG hand guard would make for one solid rifle IMO. I like the fixed rifle not only because it is solid on a scoped rifle, gives good eye relief and has some storage.

Its close, but I would probably go with the MOE for comfort, plus what you want to use it for. That's perfect use.
Thanks guys I had intially been leaning towards the MOE but for some reason got on this adjustable kick. My Marlin .22 and my Savage 7mm mag both have a 13.5" LOP and they're extremely comfortable to me. Fixed stock it is! And I'm pretty sure I'm choosing the ALG handguard over the Midwest Industries LWM 12" MLOK rail lol.

Also, you guys think I should go with a 2" cantilever scope mount or 3"?
Good choice on the stock - couldn't go wrong with either but I love the fixed stocks for no rattle!

Yeah I think the MOE rifle stock is gonna be my best option. Gonna put the ACS-L on my next build.
Take a look at the Rogers Superstock Deluxe. They lock up tight and do not rattle.
I'm running a MOE and absolutely love it. Solid, stable, comfortable. I haven't had a single complaint EXCEPT that the tube that comes with the stock kit has a protruding ring which prevents the use of a sling attachment at the front of the buttstock. I know that's not something many would fuss about but on a coyote rifle I want that option. If nothing else it's a great place to put calls.

I'm not getting the kit, I already have the a2 buffer tube setup. But that's good info on the quality of the stock. I'm definitely going with the MOE
I have both and prefer the ACS-L. The LOP is just too short for me with the fixed MOE. Even with adding the 3/4" recoil pad. I really like the CTR with the extended butt pad for most applications and it is usually a little cheaper.

How tall are you? I'm 6'1".

Because you'll likely be shooting off a bench, prone, and while standing, I would suggest collapsible. SOPMOD has the best cheek weld for a variable like the Strike Eagle - you can remove the storage tubes to save weight. I would highly recommend it over the ACS-L or MOE fixed, and would compliment your A2 system and fully collapse - but it is $20 more than the ACS-L and doesn't have a friction lock.

The Mapul STR and MOE SL-S have better cheek welds than the ASC-L (and should be considered, as they're the same price) - but not quite as good as the SOPMOD.
