Hey guys, does anyone have experience with AR mags for 450 BM? I traded for a 450 upper and it came with some 5 round mags, but I'm looking for what works best in higher capacities. Highest I found was 8 rounders. Recommendations?

Lancer Warfighters w/the steel lips are the best I've found. You can sand the follower flat or leave it as is, still works. You can't load them and leave them or the rounds pop out unless you bend the lips and they are hard to bend. But they work great otherwise. PMags are just as reliable but lack the lips.

OK, so just use the Lancer 5.56 mags, but since they have the steel lips, they can be modified/bent. How many rounds of 450 fit in a 30rd 5.56 mag?

I like the 20rd Lancers, hold 8rds, but I cut the filler springs off the bottom of the mag spring. I do this on all my mags anyway. Also, bend the spring where it attaches to the mag so the follower tilts up slightly. Also on all my mags.

Any luck on USGI mags for the Bushmaster? If so .. could you still get 12 or so in a 30rd mag?

I also use 20 round Lancer 5.56 mags. Grind a half moon cut out in the mags front to clear those big bullets.
