Have any of you developed any fir friendly loads for coyotes :?:

Try 90 grain Speer TNT with up to 29 grains of RE7. At the time I had my accurate loads, they were 2.29" COAL. You should work up to that, because I don't know if your rifle will handle that, but mine shot them very accurately with no pressure signs.

I used the Sierra 90gr HP on my first 6.8 coyote. She was about 100 yards and facing me. The bullet entered on the left side of her chest and exited the left side of her ribcage. She was DRT but I had to look really hard to even find the holes. There was very little blood but it sure did the job. From what I've read from past posts the Sierra is not as explosive as the TNT.
If memory serves me right I was using 28.6 grs of H4198 and 2930fps. This load is very accurate out of my 18" WOA barrel. I want to try the TNT to see what it will do on a coyote but haven't had the opportunity yet.

Thanks, when the day finally arrives that my 6.8 Recon from ARPerformance showes up on my door step I will give your loads a try on these SD yotes. Looking forward to way laying some antelope with it also.
