I ordered a bunch of 90gr Speer Gold Dot’s with the cannelure. In bulk for a couple of 6.8 SPC’s I have. Both have ARP barrels. Both are Scout profile. One is a 16”/5R and one is a 12.5”/3R. I’m more interested in a good load with the 12.5” when it comes to the 90gr bullet.

I would also be interested in results any of you have had When it comes to taking game with this bullet. I have had good results on Mule deer with the 120gr SST.

I load the 90gr Gold Dot over 30.5 gr of AA2200. I seat the bullet right at the bottom of the cannelure They'll work in all my magazines at that length, even the Barretts. But they're longer overall than the Federal M68GD factory load. Have used them from my ARP 16" Scouts and a couple of 18" Palmetto light profile barrels. Good accuracy from all, velocity from the 16" barrels is about 2850 fps. Haven't used them on game to this point, though..
