load data for this bullet is pretty scarce. a huge surprise to me since it is perfect for the 6.8. modest wieght and a crimp groove. i found the bit here on the boards. i was just wondering if anybody else have a load they were working with or trying out.

Max 30 Gr. of H322.
Max 27 Gr. of H4198.
Max 31.5 Gr. of H335.
I have a 12 twist 3 groove DMR chamber and I am pushing the 100 gr Rem a bit harder with H4198. That barrel seems to like 28 gr. with no pressure signs. It did not seem to like H322 as well. I am going to try the Re7 soon.

I have not had good luck with the 100 grain Remingtons. They do not feed all that well in my rifle (a 16 inch Stag 1 in 10 twist) and when chronographed they are not going fast enough to be worth while.
I can get a 90 grain up to 2,900 fps or a 110 to 2550 or so.... The 100s seem to be the odd man out...

I have tried:

26.0 grains AA-1680 = 2,520 fps and a large group, whith feeding problems.
27.0 grains H4198 = 2,646 fps and a 2 inch group with feeding problems
28.5 grains RL-10x =2,455 fps, 2 inch goup wityh feeding problems
28.0 grains IMR 3031=2,336 fps and a 2.75 inch group
30.5 grains H-322 = 2,646 fps and a 5/8 inch group. (good group but not a reliable feeder)
26.2 grains RL-7 = 2,437 fps and a 1.25 inch group,

33gr of X-terminator gave me 2796 fps average from a 14.7" barrel and 32gr gave me 2686 average. This is the only powder that I have found to really push this bullet that fast. I have had no problems with feed issues. I don't know about groups, but they are minute of felon.

I have been looking for a can of X-Terminator for months. Nobody up here seems to carry it... Of course there is almost NO POWDER up here now thanks to the assorted socialist comrades who are choking off our shipping to Alaska with bizzare taxes and regs.

I'm having a hard time finding any powder down here, I went to a local SPortsman's Warehouse and they were out of just about all reloading componants. Hopefully this panic buying will cease and we can get back to normal.

Does your 1-10 stag have M4 feedramps?

None of the STAGs have feed ramps. They are a problem wanting to happen trust me. We have seen more feeding and accuracy issue from jammed bullet from upper without feed ramps than any other cause. It is the spec to have them for this round but STag continues to thumb its nose even though their parent company CMT makes both M4 ramped reciever and mid length gas tube. Other than that the STAGs are a fine upper. I strongly suggest you cut or have cut your recievers ramps so they are extended down into the reciever. It is not a difficult task. A hand round file or dremel will do it.

For the 100s I have to say the best powder burn rate for them seems to be X-term. While its a ball and rather dirty powder it is a very good match in burn rate and is fairly cheap. H335 also works well as it does with jsut about every single bullet 90 and above. As its right on the edge of the bullet weigh split you can really use a number of different powders. Rel 7 and 10x both will work very well and get you excellent accuracy.
