It's been awhile now since they've been out and I've not seen them mentioned much.
I was wondering if many of you have tried them yet. If you have tried them, were they used for plinking, targets or hunting? I'm curious about the accuracy and if anyone has taken any game with them yet. :?:

Thanks Randall for your input.
Wow, I thought more people would have tried them by now. I guess I'm like a lot of people and haven't tried them either but I would like to.
Although I use the 90grs. for coyote hunting and will use the 110grs. for deer hunting in a couple of weeks I'd like to try out the 85gr. on both coyotes and deer. The 85gr TSX could possibly be the better bullet of the three by being able to hunt both coyotes and deer with it.

Shot a 115# doe out of a Noveske 10.5 with the new TSX 85 grain from SSA and it was thors hammer. Broke both front shoulders and the the fell straight down -DRT. Good enough for me. I generally use the Pro Hunter 110 grain but I bought two boxes of the TSX for Tand E.
Sounds like it did what is was supposed to do.
What's the details ie; distance, accuracy, velocity?

Pics? We need pics!

WOW! This thread has really come alive since I checked it yesterday. Thanks to all who have responded so far with their reports and stories.

HTR- great story about the TSX and the pigs! Funny as [email protected]@ too.  Sounds like they're the trick for pigs and if they'll put down a pig they'll certainly do the job on a deer. I was beginning to think that nobody had tried them. You sure proved me wrong on that. :D

Looks like I'm going to have to call SSA and get some ordered for deer season. Man, I better get on the stick, our rifle season starts on the 22nd!
We're allowed 6 deer total which includes two bucks. Hopefully I'll get to take a deer or two using the TSX.
There's one little buck that I won't be shooting at though. A 4-pointer was hit and killed by a pickup right near my front yard the other night.
Crap!

You had better hurry and order. I placed an order yesterday and SSA is so busy with orders Nancy said it might be two of three weeks before it ships!
Thanks for the heads up.

A day late and a dollar short. Crap! :D
