Just finished my first 6.8 build

First AR I have ever built or owned. Not as hard as I thought it would be to build. Took it out back and let a few rounds go. Still have all my fingers so things are looking good.

It is mostly spikes tactical:
m4 upper
crusader lower
parts kit
gas block

Watch out you don't get hooked. ARs have a habit of multiplying. Nice job BTW.

Nice job! I will bet you $20 in wont be your lastYou probably don't have all the tools that make building so easy. I took 5 years to gather a pile of tools, even with the correct tool putting in that gas block pin can be a Hillary. Same with that front pivot pin.

Yeah I got a bunch of tools. Planning a 7.62x39. Need to finish this one first. Planning on topping it with a luepold vxr 1.25-4x20. Should make a nice deer gun. I will try both tsx 110 and ttsx 95 behind AA2200, see which one I get better accuracy out of. People seem to have great results with that combo. Any advice on a hunting round would be great. I roll my own so any loads anyone has had good success with out of the APR 5R 18" would be a huge help.
