i have a ko-tonics upper with one of their PERFECT BARRELS :lol: i would like to change the barrel,is that something half impossible for never doing one, i have worked on bolt actions and shotguns but never taken off or replaced a barrel do i need [go no-go gauges] or is the head space ready to go from the barrel any tips would help alot thanks

The mechanics of changing the barrel is easy if you have a vise and receiver vice block, and a torgue wrench.
If you have a FSB, punch out the pins and remove the block and gas pin. Use a barrel wrench to remove the old barrel. Now do it in reverse. Be sure to align the gas tube correctly. Tighten the barrel nut to 35ft/lb then go tighter to align the hole. Never loosen it to align the hole. Replace your FSB.
I'm an amateur so please one of you "smiths" correct me if I spoke out of turn. :)
