Why are you guys using SB dies on your 6.8 reloads?

I've never seen a chamber that qualified for the need of them, plus why would you want to size the brass smaller than it was when new. I could see maybe if even new factory loads were giving you extraction problems but haven't heard of any cases were this was a problem either.

Just wondering?

Harrison suggests them for his chambers.

Factory ammo will shoot just fine in his guns, I know he has had issues in the past with some dies not resizing down to where they needed to so he reccomends the small base dies, he may be able to expand further.
