Scary if true--but hey, as someone here said before, we're all probably on a bunch of lists already!

I also wonder--who is managing that database? I mean, DoD and VA have a hard enough time tracking returned war vets who are in their own hospitals. How efficient would DHS be in tracking the ones who, say, go to the gun show this weekend?

I know this is potentially too serious not to worry some about, but I don't expect that DHS is going to be able to sustain that kind of a program.

If you'll notice the difference between the Obama Homeland Security and Bush's version
that should tell it all. Michael Chertoff was more concerned with terrorists. His replacement is concerned with protecting Obama's socialism. It reads Hitler all over. Lists or not, our federal government has just decided we're the enemy. I guess that's right.

I'm not their enemy. I am in favor of the Constitution and the rights we have been accorded as citizens. If they choose to repress those constitutional liberties then they have made themselves an enemy of all Americans.

Exactly. It just depends on which side of the fence you're standing. We're their enemy and they are ours. The Constitution is all that's between liberty and tyranny. We have to protect it.
