Holster for Glock 23?

I know, I know... It's definitely not 6.8 related in any way... My apologizes... I figured that with the extensive knowledge base here, you guys could see it clear to make an exception... just once. Please?

A seemingly easy problem has me a bit perplexed. I can't seem to find a decent concealed carry holster for my Glock 23. With all the options out there, my head is spinning with choices. As a point of reference, I carried my 4" colt in a simple Safariland belt holster. Very comfortable. Easy to draw. But not very "stealthy". I have a couple in mind for the G23, but would like your input before I pull the trigger on new "leather". At this point, I'm open to anything except a shoulder rig... What would you suggest?

Our Detectives use Safariland, but I cannot remember the model number. If you have alocal place go there and try on a couple and see how it feels and looks.
That is my primary CCW. I use a CompTac CTAC. Conceals great with just a t-shirt (and a good belt). I recommend it highly.
For OWB I have a simple Hume open top. Great holster and very reasonably priced.
Do you prefer IWB or OWB? Kydex or leather?

Leather, I have always had great results with Milt Sparks. I carry a 1911 in a Versa Max 2 IWB and it's very well made. Kydex, Comptac for sure. I have several of their models. I have an OWB (forget the exact model but it's basically a paddle) for my glock 20, and use a CTAC for my Sig 220.

I second the Ctac by Comp-tac
Thanks guys for comfirming one of my selections!!

Is there a preferred belt? Or will any decent 1.25" or 1.5" gun belt do the trick? Do you have any preference on clip kits? I'm a "righty" if that matters...
My advice would be, get yourself a GOOD leather gun belt. The belt can make or break the comfort and stability for any holster. I use a Milt Sparks IB 1.5

I like the Galco belts, but there are many good ones. You want to make sure that it is thick leather. 1.5" if possible, the size disperses the weight really well and most holsters are cut for them.
