Hey Y'all from eastern NC

Hey guys,

I have been lurking here for a little while. I am replacing my deer rig with a 6.8. Actually just pulled the trigger on this today on the Hardened Arms upper with BCG/CH and mag
but having them add the Citadel LMC on it to help control the barrel for second shots.

Let me know what y'all think. I already shot my buddy's Hardened Arms 300 BLK so I know they make quality product.

Hello and welcome.

What part of eastern NC? I deer hunted in Pender Co for years with hounds. Lots of fun.

Deer hunting in eastern NC is good. You can take up to 6 (two of which are antlered) and get more doe tags if you really want. The only thing is if you don't like the dog hunters you will need to find places they are not. Size wise we don't grow very big deer or big racks, but there is plenty of nice size ones with plenty of meat on the bone. I think you will enjoy it.

303, sure enough. I have had a couple of military friends come through that area during my time in NC and it is just over 1 hour if I remember right to get down there. I am basically not far from exit 107, give or take a few pretty back roads. :) Are you military or just happen to make a living in that area?
