I know the CZ P-01 has a polymer guide rod, and I read where Cold has a Titanium in his pistol for three gun. Is there any advantages or disavantages to "upgrading" the guide rods in pistols? Don't they merely hold the spring in place, hence the name? As always, thanks in advance!
