I have to say, this is so much better than the RRA and the DPMS triggers I have. Nice clean trigger break. I'm going to try the Wilson tactical on another build, but the Wilson will be a two stage and this Timney is a single stage.

I used a Timney drop-in on my first build because 1) it had a good reputation and 2) I wasn't sure of my ability to install the pieces of the trigger group. It worked well and I am still very pleased with it. I took the stock trigger group that I had removed and sent it to Bill Springfield at TriggerWork.net to have him rework it. He returned it within a week--cost $35. I used it in my next build and was amazed to find that I actually liked the the Springfield trigger better than the Timney--4#, clean break, no creep. In addition, I can actually install the re-worked trigger pieces faster than I can install the modular Timney. From now on, only TriggerWork.net for me.

I have a timney and I like it a lot, just be cautious becuase with the SSA ammo I was having some light primer strikes I ordered the AR10 hammer and spring and they have virtually disappeared.

Reverend Biker, that sounds like a good idea. Which trigger group did you have originally?

Marinesg, I'm using my own reloads with CCI Small Rifle Primers. Does SSA use the milspec primers?

yes they do, it may not be an issue, but itis something to look for if you have a firing pin protrusion guage it is also a good idea to make sure your fireing pin is in spec.
