Never personally heard of it. 2 things that jump out at me are:
1. Eye relief is a little long.... 4+ inches
2. Atypical tube diameter 34 mm... or was 36mm.... odd non the less... at least to me.

I think it said that it was a 35mm tube. Pretty neat looking scope though.

Oh I agree, does look pretty cool. One plus is that it goes from a 1X to a 8X. If its a true 1X, that would be a pretty good scope compared to the plethora of 1-5X scopes that are out there. And as I learned a long time ago, with a price like that, it must be good

I heard Vortex was supposed to be brewing a 35MM tubed scope? That much light would blind me at mid day though.

Do an advanced Google search on "Counter Sniper Scopes" and have the search look into snipershide.com. There are threads on the hide about Counter Sniper, more than you'll find here. There definitely is some controversy with the brand that you don't really see with other brands.

Another good source would be to ask John Boyette for references. He's definitely up on scopes out there.

It will be interesting to see what Vortex comes up with in a 35mm tube. That usually gives room for more adjustment range for the long range shooters.

Thanks for the link Art. Don't think a vortex is in the future for me, but a buddy of mine that spends most of his days on gun boards tells me that Vortex has received lots of positive reviews for a Chinese made product. I would like to learn more to actually refer the brind to my uncle who is seeking a low cost, high quality varmint glass.

If I am going to refer them to him, I need to do my own due dili and learn. My buddy may be trying to trick me into acquisition so we will have something at the next round of show and tell. We are famous for jamming each other on stuff like that.

I know Midway and OpticsPlanet both sell it for under 800. Was hoping Paulo or someone else who knows about scopes would chime in.

Wow. Google "counter sniper scopes review". Not any positive and a whole lot of negative out there. I'd steer clear.
