:?: I just order a Geisssele High Speed trigger for my Stag 5L 6.8 SPC. I hope is the best choice I've made. My question is, How difficult is to install it? any installation instructions are welcome :!: Do I have to make any modification to the M4. The place I ordered from, it giving me 3 different springs for it. Did I make the right choice? Comments are welcome. Thanks

I have the Geissele Hi Speed triggers installed on all of my AR's, they are a simple install and the trigger is awesome...best trigger set-up that you can buy IMO. The DMR seems to be the most desired trigger setting, but you might have to try out the different pull weight springs to see what you like best.

Well guys, I got the trigger yesterday and I spent about 4 hours with the installation. I have never done this before, maybe that is why it took so long. Now, I don't know if I did it right or not. How do I know if the adjustment is right? I have it set up for DRM.

Thanks

"Adjustment" of the trigger for pull weight is a personal preference kind of thing, set the pull weights to whatever feels good to you. Using a trigger pull gauge is necessary if you want to hit specific numbers for 1st/2nd stage.

Now if your looking to just function test the trigger to see if everything is installed correctly, check out the AR-15 building videos on Brownells site.
1. On the main page select "How-To's"
2. Then "Instructional Videos"
3. Then "How to build An AR-15 Video - Complete Video Series"
4. Then section 7 "Assembling the Lower Receiver"
5. Then "Installing the Safety Selector & Pistol Grip" halfway through this video is function testing of the trigger group.

Further on there's another video for function testing with the upper reciever installed and using dummy rounds (which aren't available for 6.8, yet). If you reload though you could probably make your own.

I've got the Geissele DMR in my lower waiting on the Xtreme upper, I didn't find any adjustments necessary after I installed it, it seemed perfect to me right out of the box.
