It appears that enough Tennessee Legislative members sought reelection that they actually chose to do the right thing. A day or so ago The honorable Napoleon Bonaparte (Phil Bredesen) vetoed a bill that would allow law abiding citizens to carry their weapon into a restaurant that serves alcohol, nothing more nothing less. Yesterday his veto was overridden. I guess that's one more reason why our SOB governor had to build his bunker at the governor's mansion.

Good news indeed.

Glad to see y'all got Naifeh out of the House Speaker position in the legislature or things might have been different. He can now go back and run his grocery store in Covington where he can't do any more damage to the state... My only regret is that I moved out of TN before it happened.

He can't run again as Gov, that was his second term. I'm sure he wished he could. He never got an income tax through. I imagine he's eyeing a future in the US senate. Since Obama snubbed him for that HHS position, I doubt they're friends.

Maybe find a way to set up a search for "Gun Free" homes with the ones that spout off against guns listed in the database or list. Maybe convince them to put a sign in the windows of their homes and cars saying that they are a "Gun Free Zone". Get them to show the support for what they preach.
