We also cannot ignore the fact that leftists have an insatiable appetite for collectivism, usually in the name of the “greater good”. Collectivism is basically totalitarianism disguised as humanitarianism. They know what’s best for you, and they are going to make sure you follow THEIR plan for your life.

unfortunately there is never a permanent injunction with gun laws in California. One of the very reasons that I relocated was the gun laws and the politicians. I have yet to find another rifle range like range 12 out at Sacramento Valley Shooting Center. The courts also ruled that the 10 day waiting period was unconstitutional and Harris appealed that decision and it is still in practice in CA. I am so glad that I got out while it was cheap enough to do so.
Most gun haters are soft headed Democrat suburbanites who sincerely believe society would be a safer place if there were fewer guns that criminals and evil doers could steal and use. But serious political leaders with a socialist bent are afraid of rebellion. After all, socialism is inherently coercive and patriotic Americans are likely to resist. - CW
