As far as I know, Shaw made barrels to spec for Wilson as well. It's important to know that ARP and others provided their own reamers so one should not assume that the barrels that come directly from Shaw have the same chambers as the ones we have bought from the most popular barrel providers.

Shaw can make a fine barrel if they have the correct specs. Surely they know to use the common tooling 4 groove 11 twist and SPCII reamer to make those barrels. If they do they should shoot as good as most 6.8 barrels on the market.

Shaw is down the street from me 2.5 miles.
Excellent service. They make barrels for some of the Best names in the industry. & USA . Govt.
Give them precisely what you want . Wait a while and you’ll get just that .

I have a buddy that has an ar15parts.com upper with a shaw barrel. It shot pretty good about .5-.75moa with 110 hornady bthp ammo.

Pretty sure they make a lot of the factory barrels for several rifle companies

Nope. The only factor produced 6.8 is by rugger in AR platform. Maybe Eric will crank out some small shank Savages one day... I asked him. I'm still looking for one.
