I'm looking at a 556 a65 eotech. does anybody have one, are they worth the money. Thanks for any input. ( can buy for a really good price, it's not a knock off)

They are very nice. I had the 516 which is the non NV Version. They have the raised base for a lower 1/3 co-witness.

I am using the 516 and like the a2 front sight being visible at the bottom of the window. I have it on a 556 upper. I would like to try the new model that takes only one cr123 battery.

I have the 556 but can't give you a range report on it though since it's still in the box awaiting the arrival of my Xtreme.
I went with it for the CR123 batt's (same as light) and the NV capability (someday).

It's got a manufacture date of 8/08 so hopefully I'll avoid any battery box spring issues some of the older EO's have been reported as having.
