DPMS 6.8 What should I pay?

I have the chance to purchase a like new 6.8 DPMS carbine. I believe it will come with 3 PRI mags. I don't know if he has any ammo to go with it but if he does, I would get that also.

I know from the reading here, I should be looking at the fired cases for signs of overpressure.

Realistically, what should I pay? He's asking $900 OBO & he's shopping to shops to trade.This gun is also nutered for ban state consumption.


I was looking to $700/750 tops & think the dealers wont even give him that.

This is from the Blue Book of Gun Values:

Panther AP4 Carbine

I wound up buying it, 60 rounds of Hornady 6.8,1 PRI & 2 CP mags,case came with it. The gun shows signs of having to be pried apart, so this will be a experence.

I will clean it well & try it this saturday & see how she runs.

$750 & I can always get my money back if I don't like it!
