Dirt Diver, new guy with 6.8 questions.

Howdy all, I am a big fan of and advocate of shooting and firearms. I am not a vet or currently enlisted, just a regular guy in law enforcement. Always wanted to be in the military but I have diabetes so I settled for the next best thing in law enforcement. I am looking at purchasing an AR type of rifle and have always been a fan of them. However with this 6.8 out, I have been back and forth and back and forth and have yet to purchase anything. Was doing some searching and found this great site. I do have a couple of questions for all you 6.8 vets out there and will post them up on the the other boards. Thanks much for having me and I will enjoy the discussions had here.
