Seeing another post from ccoker regarding his dad in old picture it reminded me of this one. Year before I was born. They are all dead now and really missed.

They are shotguns, not the best for slinging a slug but in those days they hunted with what they had. All these fellows went through the depression and grew up during a different time so were conservative, box of shells would last years. :shock: This was taken in southern tier of NY State and deer hunting hadn't been open for many years at that time as deer were pretty much nonexistent till F&G started reintroducing them in the 30s I believe.
