I hear a lot of talk about cycling new builds. So far it has been mostly if not all in reference to 6.8. I have a build that hopefully will be finished up this weekend. It is a 5.56. Should I be cycling this thing before the range? If so how much and anything else I should do?

Thanks,
Ryan

Definitely, always good to break things in before running them hard. Lots of lube.

Any where from 500 to 1000 cycles should do it. I lubed by BCG and charging handle and cycled mine 500 times, then cleaned it and repeated it. No problems and smooth.
