I posted this photo on the picture forum also to show my first rifle build and to thank everyone for posting the great information on this site that enabled me to put together this gun and also a 5.56.
I am impressed with the job the 6.8 did on this big boy. I popped him with a Hornady 110 gr. V-Max behind the ear and he dropped in his tracks. I could not find an exit wound so it must have fragmented. The boar was about 50 yards away and the shot angle was slightly down hill.
I hope to post a photo soon showing what this round can do on a deer.
