Bought a center point from walmart for 70.00 with red green recticle,locking windage knobs and resetable zero. I was shooting this weekend and the thing is right on. It is not the clearest but it is also not the worst. Was shooting 430 yds with no problem. Just to throw it out there if anyone needs a scope until they can save money for the better ones.

YEah Ive got a 4-16X centerpoint scope mounted on my LR-308.... I agree with your assessment. It is adequate for paper punching.

I've got the 3-9x32 on mine until I get enough in the coffers for a Nightforce. I'm impressed with how good it is for a $50 scope.
