CCI #40 Primers?

A friend of mine just picked up a few hundered CCI #40 small rifle primers at a gun show this last weekend for his .223 instead of #41's. Does anyone have experience with these? Are they a suitable "substitute" for the #41's? Any problems using in reloading 6.8?

The CCI #400 primers are very good. I used them before with good results.
