29 to 29.5 seems to be the ticket.
30 if your brass is SSA or S&B and your sized .003 bump to your chamber.
This is the reports I'm getting not my official recommendation.
At 2.285 I feel you've found the max.
30gr with a 95 TTSX and SSA brass @ 2.296 is to hot in my barrels.
Pretty amazing you can run a 105 MKZ with the same powder load as a 95 TTSX.
Work up, stay safe, never run someone else's load without a 10% work up.

How does fed brass compare? I'm going to order some and try and chase down some 2200.

Awesome! Through a shoulder and 7 ribs and that bullet still looks great! I saw you had Benchmark in the background. Any chance you have done any loading with that yet? I'm still tossing up the 105 or 120's.

Not yet.
I didn't take the label off it yet. It has processed FC brass in it

Likely a bit lower powder charge, it's about 1 grain less powder capacity.
Just work up and you'll be fine with it.
Ive run both the 105 and 120 in Fed brass.

I'm gonna have to get a chrono. I'd like to contribute instead of beg for info. And it gets so much more interesting when you have more data after a day at the range. What range did you take the sow?

Thats a hog rippin projectile! Can't wait to see what some of you guys do with deer this season. I"ve already loaded up a bunch of SSTs, but I am REAL interested in this 105!

Thanks Yama for this great turn of events; POSITIVE!

I have alot of 120sst loaded also. But these things are wicked on hogs. The blood trails on the runners were horrific.
The sow that we cleaned and recovered the bullet from poured blood out for 5 minutes after we hung it up. You couldn't tell a difference from heart to lungs. They were all bloodshot.

I shot two boars with the 105 gr MKz this weekend both were Texas heart shots both were knocked down but required an additional bullet. Still good performance to knock down a over 200 pound boar from the rear. Its really to early but think I will prefer the 120gr myself.

I shot these out of my 16" ARP barrel yesterday. 110gr S&B FMJ, 90gr Gold Dots and this all grouped together at 100 yards.
When i get more time im goin to stretch them out a little further.

I ordered some 105 MKZs last week. Hopefully they'll get here this week.

There are 3 weeks left of the season and if the weather holds out I hope to come up with a good load to use for the remainder of the season.
