Problem is the price is terrible. $34.99 for a 20 box of the PTS. That is the price for the S&B TSX round. I'm wondering if that price is a mistake.

Nope, not a mistake, and you need to believe that folks are gonna be buying them too, especially some of the old timers who bought the remington 700 and dont know much about the internet~!

Saw there price you could get a 150+ ssa for the price of a hundred. Plus they put it next to the 5.56 in the catalog if somone was going to be on the fence and checked out the price of ammo and saw that it would change their mind.

They dropped their price. I knew it had to have been a mistake. They adjusted the bulk price as well. CTD catalog price is still cheaper though (can't believe that).

I visited the Cabelas in Buda, TX this morning and they had them on the shelf for 18.99. I grabbed a box.

They had them at the Cabelas in Wheeling, WV last Saturday as well for the same price. I didn't bother to buy a box though because I wasn't sure how good the stuff was, and money is a little tight. Going to give us a report???

It is the Hornady V-max Bullet. Comparable to Hornady tap ammo. I've heard (from reliable resources) it is the same stuff. 8)

I guess they just used a different tip on the bullet. Last I check the vmax were red....these ones are green.

Same bullet , red tip for hornady and green tip for s&b. bought a whole bunch from midway when they were on sale. 110 gr. spbt. 8)

according to s&b's website, they make a 6.8 with the tsx bullets. you didn't happen to see any on the shelf did you?

For 1 box of s&b tsx, I have seen them advertised for almost $40.00 box, no mistake. SSA offers the same bullets for $10.00 less a box. :?
