I recently built my first AR a few months ago for my son. I figured the 6.8 would make a great low recoil hunting rifle. I really have little experience with ARs outside my Army days. Well, got to the range today and the first shot was fine but the empty brass didn't eject. I cleared it, fired another round, and it also didn't eject the brass. After taking everything apart, I realized the extractor was broken. The rifle has only 200 rounds through it. I'm wondering if it's something I've done to it, or done wrong, or is it just bad luck and a part that is known to occasionally fail?

There was a bad batch of extractors from Stag last spring. Send me an email and we'll take care of it.

H,

Is there a way to tell if it is one from the bad batch? I have a spare bolt that I purchased from you last year!
If it is a super bolt it does not have a bad extractor. I designed our 9310 6.8 bolts to use 5.56 extractors.
