Someone local is settling some 6.8 ammo made by bitterroot valley and I was wondering if anyone here has heard of them? Or had experience with their products?

haven't ever heard of them, got a link?
What head stamp is on the brass?
Bitter Root Valley Ammo and Components ("BVAC") has been providing 6.8 for at least a few years now... out of Stevensville, MT.

Do you know if they're any good?

Never used them.
Remmy brass if I remember. Never used their loads.
Bought some years ago and they were SSA small primer brass. At the next gun show I bought 10 more boxes and they turned out to be Remington brass. They used the Hornady VMax and the BTHP bullets. I don't know what the accuracy was as I was just getting into the 6.8 and my distance was limited. Both the VMax and BTHP loads cycled fine. I swapped off the BVAC ammo to another guy at the next gun show as he was looking for Remington brass while I wanted either SSA or Hornady.
Fyi bvac has been aquired by another company but I forgot which.

My experience with their .223 was that ir had really great bullets but didnt group very well.
