Yep, I've had a couple. Lost one of them, but still have my auto-stryker. Love it. They are very good quality, but I'm not a knife expert.

I've been carrying the same benchmade mini griptilian for at least 8 years now. Its a great knife and the one you're looking at is a step up from there so I expect you'll be very pleased. Mine gets USED everyday for work and its holding up very well.

I love Benchmade knives, carry a 530 every day. The 154CM blade metal is a bit softer than I would like, but it takes an edge easily and holds it fairly well.

I have carried a OD/black mini Griptilian every day for about 7 years. It is part of me now. Great knife, and the best groomsman gift I have ever received!(the bride has a family member that works @ BM) you won't be disappointed.

Griptillian is a good knife. I've had one since my junior year in High school. Still keep it in my car. I replaced it with a Zero Tolerance for work use, but benchmade makes a great knife.

Buy one, then go back and buy more. I have two that are go to EDC. One is my first BM knife from the late 90's, the other is about 4 years old. Outside of minor wear from use, both are holding up as new function wise. Don't let their higher price fool you, they are a long term investment. I think they still have the life sharp guarantee and you can send yours in for sharpening and reconditioning. They used to import some knives under their red box series. I believe they brought those stateside now. So the line is all US made now if I'm correct. Mine are US made.

Edited to add: Their collaboration series with well known knifesmiths are ones to keep an eye on. Some really sharp (pun intended) knives show up each year.

I'd like to see Benchmade approach Todd Rexford for a collaboration.

D2 steel blade mini Griptilian has been my EDC for 8-9 years. Occasionally carry my Boker Rexford Epicenter folder that Todd designed but it is too good looking to mess up LOL

Looks like I am late for the party. I had one and loved it then lost it. I got an Emerson as a replacement and never looked back. In my opinion Emerson makes one of the best knives on the market.

Sorry, just thought I would through in some confusion!

I've been carrying a Barrage for four years now. I never leave home with out it. You really don't know how many times it'll come in handy until you start carrying it. With a little practice it deploys just as fast as a automatic with the perk of being legal to carry. My fixed blade knife stays on the left shoulder of my RBR-Mtac 300 which I'll hopefully never have to use. Here they are

Great knives! I carry an Auto Stryker every day. The life sharp deal is awesome I had a knife that had been used as a crude tool for years it took a beating but just kept on going. I needed it sharpened, I sent it in to bench made it came back not only sharpened but with new internals! That is awesome service an free! Buy with confidence.
