well I want to join the 6.8 club and have a AR platform for hunting game and punching groups in paper. So I'm stuck on what barrel to get. Who has barrels in stock or don't have a long waiting list to get one? I want a rifle that is accurate and not heavy.

The AR performance, Bison, and White Oak are the barrels that I can not make a decision between. I would like a noveske but the price is a bit more. So is their a barrel that will group tighter than a other? What kind of groups are people getting with a 16" at 100 yards?

I have one of Denny's WOA Ionbond barrels but I can't tell you how it shoots. I have a few things($$$) to do before it's ready & I have ARP/Titan barrel on it's way.

I figured I would just get both!

Either way I don't think you can go wrong but the Extreme barrel is going to be a hard use barrel & can probally take more abuse that the WOA barrel & remain shooting accurate.

I'm getting .50-.75 moa with my AR Performance Recon and my handloads.

The Titan barrel is the basic offering but with optimal specs and chrome lined for longevity.
Ar performance offers the same barrel as well as match grade barrels and such.

I own a WOA 1-11 6 groove in ss and its a straight shooter out to 400yds... Mine was fire lapped as part of the break in process so it may perform slightly different. Since I purchased my barrel they changed thier barrel specs to a more desireable 1-11twist 4 groove...should definately be a shooter.

Bison armory ss barrels are shooters as well... you cant go wrong with any of these choices...there has been no negative feedback to speak of ...

I emailed White Oak, they're all at Camp Perry, it's going to be at least 3 months before you get a barrel. Just FYI.

I had the same question I was asking... Which barrel? I decided on the Denny's Guns/ GTS 16.1 inch Recon 6.8. It has shipped and should be here soon hopefully. I can't wait to get this rifle built up and see how she shoots!
