Finally the day has arrived! I got my YM carrier in the mail today from Bison Arms!

The bolt is an LMT (already assembled). I have the firing pin, cam pin, and cotter pin. I have it together just want to make sure it's right. Does the cotter pin just slide in over the top of the firing pin or does it need to clamp around it?

Just a quick check, the bolt goes in with the ejector on the inside correct?

Thanks!

The firing pin retaining pin just goes in under the pin, or over it I cannot remember which right now, but damned sure not around it and do not try and spread it. And make sure you have the firing pin in all the way before putting in the firing pin retaining pin. With the FPRP in there if you tap the back of the BCG on the table the FP should not fall out.
The cam pin can only go in one way so you cannot assemble the bolt backwards. The extractor to the ejection port side, the ejector opposite.

Thanks for the reply, I just checked and I have it done correctly. The retainer pin goes on top of the firing pin.

Make sure the extractor on the bolt is on the correct side when inserting it into the carrier. Could be problematic otherwise.
