ANYONE HEAR WHEN THEY ARE GOING TO START UP THE 6.8 RUN.BEEN WAITING FOR AWHILE ON MY ORDER.I FIGURED ALL LOWERS WERE GOING TO 223S?

They are already. I had one a few months ago. Very nice rifles and shot very well. Mine was under moa gun. I have a load for it that shot very well, just have to check my book.

I put an order in for an ArmaLite M15A4 6.8 on Feb. 17......no telling how long it will take to get it. I don't hear a lot about ArmaLite on the discussion boards, don't know if that is good or bad thing. Most of what I heard is that they were G2G.
I did order 5 mags. from Barret at $40 apiece. Received them a couple days after placing my order. I hope they are worth the $$$. I read they were the ones to get. (May have read it on this site)
So give me the details about your ArmaLite. Like I said I don't hear much about them from people who have them, esp. in 6.8.

I've had an Armalite M4 6.8SPC flattop since about 3 weeks before the election. MI BIUS and two pri 25 rd mags for it. She's all zeroed in and ready for accessorizing. I haven't encountered anything negative about so far. Well, maybe the availability of ammo could improve. I've been using SSA varminters and sierra prohunters.

Seen one at a show today with a Barrett Mag but the nutjob wanted $2,500!!! It was only one of two in the show. The other (I forget the maker now) was $1,500, and it had a 1:10 barrel on it... This price inflation sux! :evil:

Wow!!!! 6-12 month back order......looks like I will be waiting longer than I thought. I feel pretty good about the price though.....$1030.61 out the door. I could get it with either green or black stock & grip. I told the dealer it didn't matter, whatever came down the line first.

Now that does not mean a dealer or distributor that has ordered well in advance will not get the in that is if you ordered straight from the factory. Bushmaster RRA are also the same but again you will see them from time to time just not from the factory.

I just saw a Rock River 6.8 the day before yesterday for $1900.00 at Cheaper Than Dirt. Nothing special on it just a plain M4.

Only about $950 more than suggested retail. Can we say someone is gouging? Not necessarily CTD but somebody is in that chain of profit.

Yep, I thought it was way to high considering what I paid for mine($1100) but ya know somebody will buy it. CTD here in Ft.Worth has only had two or three 6.8s since I bought mine.

Another Texan in the house. CTD hasn't been cheaper than anything for a long time and is one of the buisiness I won't go to due to them attributing to and taking part in the price gouging.

CTD is of distributor size. They are the ones gouging. Seems a few have gotten into the game over the last few years. Midway is another that use to campaigning on being for the little guy with great wholesale prices now they are high unless its a special or close out.
