I have the latter one 3 lb and it has worked with out a hitch for 4-5K so far. Combo of hunting and range

There is almost zero pre/over travel and what has to be the shortest reset I have used in a firearm that was relaible I mean really next to nothing. It makes a 3 lb trigger feel much lighter. If you are not use to a fine trigger or such a short rest you may want to think about getting the 4lb. If you decide yo do want that after the fact they can send you the spring you can swap out to increase it. The ONLY trigger i could rate above this is the Geiselle but its a 2 stage and as such a different animal. The Timney is easily the best AR single stage IMHO. It is better than the JP and doesn't have nearly the issue with light primer strikes the JP has.

If you go with the Timney you may want to order the AR10 trigger... I was having light primer strikes with my 4lb Timney and they sent me the AR10 hammer and spring to drop it in... I have yet to try it though so I cant say it fixed it....

I recently ordered a Spike's complete lower with a CMMG trigger upgrade. It's an option I don't think they list, but at $100 it might be a good deal if you don't already have a lower.

Of course, it'll be a few weeks before I am able to actually do anything with that trigger, so I don't have any reviews. I did read very good things about it though...enough to convince me, anyways.

I just ordered a 4 lb. trigger from Bill Springfield. When I get the new trigger I plan on sending him my other two to get them worked over. He is quick to respond and easy to deal with. http://www.triggerwork.net/index.html :D
