I loaded some 130 grain slugs for tommorrow using BENCHMARK. But data is scarce for this powder.
Unfortunately I have a bunch of it and not my preferred powders.

I use it for 115 and 130 grain loads. I don't know about the velocities, but let me tell you, the hogs don't care. But It is my favorite for the heavy loads. I have gotten sub-moa groups at 100 and 200 yards with the 115 SMK and 130gr Nosler Ballistic Tip Hunting and 130gr Soft Point bullets.

I tried some today with 130 grain Sierra Soft Points.
With 27.0 grains of Benchmark, a CCI 41 primer, virgin SSA brass, loaded to 2.260 COL, Lee Crimp

Temp was plus 5 degrees F with 12 knot wind...

I was getting 2,208 fps with only an 11 fps deviation. This is from my 16 inch Stag with a 1 in 10 twist.
No real pressure signs. And I cannot get much more velocity from 130 grain bullets using other loads
The group was less than an inch with the first and last round flyers that this rifle is cursed with.

See the photo of the group on the main discussion page where I snivel about the flyers again.

Too damn cold for me......

Please realize I have a 1/11 barrel...and that you should work up yourself carefully....Also remember these loads are based on the Nosler 130gr Flat base SP-a discontinued product.(I picked up about 1k of them when I found they were stopping production, and I buy any I run across) The load is almost identical for the 130 Nosler BT hunting. And yes these are compressed loads. I do plan to try both the sierra 130's as soon as I can find them.
I found my safe max to be 28.7 gr. At 29gr, I have light swipes. The groups hover around 1-1.5 moa with all charges from 25.0 to 27.5 (in .5 increments) but after a good 120 rounds of detailed bench testing, the sweet spot for accuracy for my barrels is 28.2 grains. My best 5-shot group was .584 at 100 yards with my 18" SPR- average is .65-.7. The 16" groups reliably at around .8-.9

The data aside, the real world results with both the now discontinued 130 Flat Base SP and current production 130 NBT Hunting is absolutely devastating on the local hogs.

I have not been on the site in a whyle , but it is good to see the others are using the 130 gr bullets. I am shooting out of a half stag left handed 24" tactical 1-9.5 twist . Awsume gun . In you post TackDriver68 you have about the same powder shot for the 110s too(the sweet spot for accuracy for my barrels is 28.2 grains.) The 130 nosler bullets do real good as well.
What part of Georgia you from. Iam in North Bama.
