I would love to own one, if the price were competitive with AR-15s.rushca01 said:I'm not gonna lie but...I have never liked those riflesI can say that right, were all friends here right? I mean it's awesome they are joining the 6.8 club and all and it does great things for the round, just not a fan of that style rifle. That being said just my opinion which aint worth munch 8)
There is a NATO stock the Steyr AUG uses that accepts M16 pattern mags, and MSAR used this concept so they can offer a 6.8 which needs the steel AR style mags over polymer types. You used to be able to buy the NATO stock for existing AUGs, but you'd have to ask MSAR if you can switch to MSARs M16 mag compatible stock so you can use their 6.8 conversion. So I guess long answer to short answer, you'd have to call them and discuss it.Hope someone can give me some info regarding the 6.8 MSAR.I already purchased a earlier MSAR about a year ago. With the
additiion of a new bbl and bolt will I be able to convert this earlier model to the 6.8 platform?Rember now, this earlier model
takes the MSAR mags only and won't accept AR mags. Will this be a problem as far as mags go for the conversion?
Any further input on this is greatly appreciated.
