I ended up getting two with the 60gr Vmax last night. They worked great. Going out tonight with the 55gr SGT. Pretty small coyote, the other one was bigger but the picture isn’t really internet appropriate. My brother is using a 22 creedmoor shooting Berger 80.5gr full boar going 3400fps and it was turning coyotes inside out last night. That thing is incredible.

I killed two with the Sierra 55gr GameKing going 3400fps. One was around 100y and the other ranged at 303y. Both were drt. I think this bullet is going to be perfect.

Very bright moon! I didn't need to turn on my light to drive around the ranch. Keep tagging those yotes!

Also, the Valkyrie was designed around the 90 SMK. Turns out that bullet had too thin a copper jacket and didn't shoot well. It was the worst bullet in my Valkyrie. Sierra corrected that but, between this and the chamber issue, the Valkyrie got off to a poor start. Makes me wonder how the cartridge would have fared in popularity if Federal didn't screw it up.

Kind of ironic that Remington screwed up the 6.8 SPC and Federal doubled down by screwing up the Valkyrie. 🤦‍♂️

another 4 with the 55gr SGK. #5 dropped off into a big ditch full of tumbleweeds and grass and I couldn’t find it. 3 of these were on the same set. Good night of calling before the snow rolled in early this morning.

I’m trying to keep track this year how many I get. These have all been at night with my Alpha and 224V. I’m at 13 so far, 22 counting a couple other people I’ve taken. I’m hoping to go out again to some new spots this weekend and hammer some more.

Went out Friday night before the snow and cold weather. Ended up killing 6, picked up 5. The 55gr SGK is performing great on these coyotes.
