Just checked SGAmmo.com and looks like prices on pistol ammo and possibly/probably other ammo is going up again due to panic buying. I saw that the 9mm ammo looked like it was up about $100 per 1000 over the past month.

Not saying it is retailers raising prices as distributors will also, along with manufacturers. This could be a case of available ammo is being auctioned off to the highest bidder due to lack of new supplies being available due to Socialists closing firearms related businesses along with lack of available raw materials.

It's like everything else panic related. Demand has exceeded supply and if you can't keep product on the shelves for very long, there is no incentive to offer it at a discount.

Not to mention all the stimulus money that is about to hit the market. A lot of that will go to the firearm industry. My theory is that in a few months there will be alot of lightly used guns for sale. When these deferred car payments get real that is.

Sgammo sent out a news letter a while back before all this happened and said he expected to see prices increase slowly anyways. Everything he was buying and importing was going up but he hadn't yet raised his prices. As of now i refuse to pay 30c a round for 9mm :) but that may change in future. I wish i had stacked up some cheap steel case 9mm for my ar9 and p80 so i had cheap stuff to shoot in pistol and in rifle. Luckily I think i got enough 22lr and 22mag to last a lifetime so i got a pistol and bolt action to keep me busy as long as needed.

Panic buying has always interested me but never expected an ammo panic for this type of event... I also expected by now from all the panic buys in my lifetime everyone already had a bazillion rounds stashed in their basement or something.

Just supply and demand. Not near as bad as the price rises due to Obummer.

Today Trump took the Communist anti 2nd amendment Gov of Virginia to the woodshed. But not just the lead communist, the whole state lesglature is guilty of going againts their oaths of honor, going aganist the US Constitution and that of Virginia.

In another news break, Robert E. Lee rolled over in his grave and asked to be moved to another state for burial.

I was looking somewhere the other day and 9mm and .223 had both risen about $100 per thousand. I placed an order with SG early in the week and was impressed with their shipping speed. It would have been here yesterday but I received a notice from UPS that it was going to be delayed until Monday due to severe weather.
