Hello, Fellow 6.8 fans-

I found y'all through another 6.8-related board I am a member of, and hope to be the owner of a Mini 6.8 someday soon. On that topic-has anyone heard any more news concerning Ruger and this rifle besides the information that came out of SHOT '08?

Regards from a newbie-

Welcome aboard. There are a couple of threads about the Mini in the "Other 6.8SPC Rifles"
welcome aboard.
Thanks, fellas-

I went over to the other thread, but didn't find much info there. I wish Ruger would cease acting like the NSA, and come forth with some info for us 'little folk' buyers out here in Amerikey!
Welcome aboard. there might not be much Ruger specific info here for you but all you have to do is ask and I bet you will get an answer along with much of the info here is general to all 6.8s. I think this is the perfect round for the Mini. More power then its big brother but in the small package as the 5.56. Whats not to like. The 7.62 mags also work for the 6.8 so you can use the longer mags for it.
I haven't seen a Ruger Mini 6.8 yet. I have a Ruger Mini-14 that became one of my favorite rifles during the ban years when I wasn't firing my AR's that often.

I'm definitely interested in the Mini 6.8 and agree with Tim_W that this will make the best all around Mini. The 7.62X39 Mini is tempting due to cheap ammo available, but I think the 6.8 will perform better accuracy wise and with better hunting bullet selection available. Here is another great carbine moving into big game territory using the 6.8.

Welcome to 68forums.
Welcome.

Lots of good people and information here.
