I thought you all might like this. If you're bored with your carbine/rifle and want to change things up and give it that little bit of something special....

I like the idea. I don't know if it is the photo quality or what but I don't care for what was shown. Maybe a different script to dress it up a bit.

I know what you mean, contact the guy and see if he can do anything.
That is definately a must buy for me here shortly. Also a good way to differentiate one upper from another since they arent always marked. I do think its a tough battle between those and the Noveske Dust Cover

Now to get Spikes Tactical to do a 6.8 Inside Laser engraving on lower receivers. Cold, you got enough pull to get that done?

Did you see the Noveske Dust cover that had had enough wear to make it say "Cock ***" only? haha that would suck.

The one issue with the Noveske one is if you've never seen the movie you'd never get the reference. I still haven't seen that movie.
I havent seen the one you are referring to, but that would be funny. I like the Noveske one because it fits my sense of humor, but knowing my luck, I would get into a shoot out with a member of the pink team andthat really wouldnt look good in a civil trial.
I kind of like them. May have to get a couple.
I got tired of waiting for them & didn't care for the font, so I had them done myself.

$10 each if I have a few to do.

I bought one of his 50 Beowulf covers. Excellent job on it. Fast delivery. No BS. If you order from Steve, he'll do ya right.

I got the CEO in the cell phone, I can give him a call and see what the min order would need to be.
Someone should IM the guy and point him to this thread or ask him to discuss it here.

JT, thats what im talking about. You are the man, dont let anyone ever tell ya otherwise.

Edit for Clarity. What im talking about is the laser engraving similar to their infidel and american flag on the right side of the receiver.

Find out Cold. They may have the "6.8 Inside" image already stored. If so, it's only a small fee for the engraving. It was either Spike's or Anvil Arms that I recall seeing some laser engravings with the logo in a post or two on ARFCOM some months ago.
I like your font better. If you get enough interest in a run let me know.

if spike wants to do some lowers I am game... I dont need anymore lowers but I can always use one or two more....
Engraved dust covers

I'm the guy on arfcom doing the engraved dust covers. I just got a new laser guy and he can do almost anything. If you all are interested in something different I am open to all ideas.

This all started for me with the 50 Beowulf. The port is bigger and no one made a cover for it. I modify stock covers and get them engraved. I also have a 6.5 Grendel (don't hate me) and a 5.56 AR so I wanted a special cover for each.

If you have some ideas or requests for special fonts let me know and I can forward them to the laser guy.

Steve, thanks for joining up. Can you post the ordering info up here for those of us who dont frequent Arfcom. The only suggestion I would make is to put the 68 on the left side, and put INSIDE on the right side. 68 Inside is our own little theme.

+1 I like the sound of that much better!
All covers but the Beowulf are $25.00 USPS M/O and $26.50 discrete Paypal. You get one engraved cover shipped and insured by the USPS. I also send instructions to install them without any disassembly. Just reuse your hinge pin, spring and c-clip. M/0 to Steve Lubecki, 2201 Mardell Dr., Dayton, OH 45459-3633 or PayPal to [email protected] Thanks for the interest. I will do 68 Inside the next batch.
Should we go for "6.8SPC" one one side and "Inside" on the other, or how does everybody want him to set this up?
