This is part of the 59 hogs killed this weekend two shooters, about 10 minutes of shooting and 4 hours of dragging. Farthest hit was 377 yards running. I was surprised by the small hogs many took multiple hits while the bigger ones just died.

477 yd hit

just wondering was your hit at 477 yds fatal? i'm guessing it was. point being if it was fatal on a pig it would certainly be fatal on a deer.

Good shooting. I am guessing that after 10 minutes of intense shooting like that 4 hours of dragging is needed to get adrenalin levels back to normal. Color me envious.

That's a hell of a video, and some fine shooting too. I didn't watch with sound on (at work), so don't know if it was said which Zeus was used. Assume it was one of the Pro models. Magnification?

It was a couple of Texas heart shots followed by two broadside hits he was running at an angle away so not fatal DRT but fatal within a short time frame.

so in your experience do you think the 120 SST at 400 yds would be suitable for deer? while it might not drop them in there tracks i've had .308 not drop them in their tracks at less yardage. with a 120 SST in the boiler room i'm guessing they wouldn't go far.

Why call it a political correctness world "HARVEST"? When its a great service HOG ERADICATION your doing that gets rid of an exotic species in the ecosystem and helps out local wildlife and ranch/farm works?
