Don't worry about it. You just walked into a thread that has some history. That's why I referred you to the other thread. DocGKR gave us some solid information about how a 338 MG would be used.WOW! I think I will stay away from this one.
It's pretty specific, Kerry. However, your post is a bit perplexing. This thread is a simple request for information. You did tell me, "If you have a genuine question...great. Ask away." ( http://68forums.com/forums/showpost.php?p=65611&postcount=166 )Stan…
In an effort to answer your request for clarification and specificity…this thread typifies what I referenced in my earlier comment. We ran this subject into the ground in a previous thread, to the point of having the thread locked by a moderator. Yet here you attempt to revive a parallel thread, on a subject that most participants would concede was dead and buried.
I would say this thread qualifies as "kicking a dead horse."
Is that clear and specific enough?
Kerry
I'm sorry Stan. I should have been more specific, seeing how you have been so perplexed lately. I should have made an invitation to ask a genuine question on a NEW subject. Not a question that only served to direct ones lower right appendage toward the afore mentioned comatose Shetland pony. It's pretty specific, Kerry. However, your post is a bit perplexing. Well, excuuuuuse me for seeking additional information on an old subject. I just thought that it might make for an interesting magazine article, and wondered if Gary or anybody else knew who is developing a .338 machine gun. If I'd known you would take mortal offense at the question, I would've refrained from asking.I'm sorry Stan. I should have been more specific, seeing how you have been so perplexed lately.
