I bought a couple of 80% lowers mainly to have and to hold, and to pet him and hug him and squeeze him and call him George.... (sorry got carried away). No real plans in mind.
I've got the caliber range from 22 to 300 Win Mag pretty well covered mostly in wood and blue steel. Really not interested in AR pistols or SBRs.
I've always been enamored of the 30 carbine and regretted not buying a Ruger three screw Blackhawk in that caliber back when they were cheap.
Ammo is cheap and plentiful even now. This is just for plinking.
