I think I read msr is about 1 gr less than 270ar so if I go 3 gr less on 270 ar data should that be a good start point I can find alot of 270 ar loads but not too many msr loads just curious

The reason I asked is i see alot of 270 ar data for leverevolution but not for msr I have leverevolution but don't want to waste in these trying times

I have never tried Leverevolution. It looks a bit slow on the charts for either cartridge but might outperform TAC on the heavy bullet end like 130's. For the .270 AR (18” bbl) and .270 MSR (20” bbl) I use all small primer brass and CCI450 primers. For bullets 100gr and heavier, I use TAC. It seems to be a hair slower than 8208. My 8208 max loads ran ½ grain less powder and around 100 fps slower than my TAC loads. I like the Cavity Back 105gr for deer. I have to run one grain less of TAC in the .270 MSR but with its two inch longer barrel both chronograph right around 3050 fps.
