Shot at about 125 yards using a WOA 18'' SS barrel sold by Denny over at GTS with SSA 110 grain pro hunter round. Been hunting this place for 5 years now and finally got a deer there. Would have been a doe too but I rushed that shot a little and smooth missed. Hit the deer on the right side and it went through and through but clipped the top of the heart and made a mess of the internals. Deer ran about 20 yards and dropped.

my first shot or kill wityh my 6.8 was with the SSA Sierra Pro hunter.
I had a large doe about 135-150 yds away quartering from my. I put the round right hwere I was aiming, but poor location on the doe. It entered just behind the left shoulder and when we cleaned the doe the round was found just sitting against the inside of the right hind qaurter. I was clearly a gut shot that hit only one lung. With this poor placement, she only ran about 25 yds. She had NO blood trail for us to follow. We found her by walking the trail she was on.
