I have a large frame upper and lower burning a hole in my pocket. I am leaning towards building a 14.5" 308 with it but have some handguard questions. I want this build to be as lightweight as economically possible, yet strong. I prefer my handguards to go right to the beginning of the muzzle threads so there is a seamless look with the can on. Does anyone have any pics of there 14.5" builds that have a 13-14" handguard on them? Any suggestions for handguards in that length that are lightweight and strong?
