The first of the bullet info gathering threads, lets try to keep the chit chat to a minium and not argu with others opinions. Please just post the facts or your experience with the bullets. How they performed on game, the accuracy of the bullet and loading data that produced good accuracy. If you don't have any experience please let those that do have experience provide the info for others to learn from.

I have taken a few coyotes with the 100gr accubond and it seems to do a good job of putting them down if shot placement is good.

Best Load
29.5grs RL-10
OAL 2.295
CCI#41
SSA Brass
Velocity 2775fps from a spcII 1-11 16"WOA

This load only produced approximately 1" groups nothing fancy but it was still my best load.

Here are two recovered bullet photos. The one on the left is 237yds and the one on the right is 273yds. Complete pass through and the bullets were found in the snow.

I haven't had a chance to try them on game yet, but out of my Stag 20" loaded with 29.5 gr of AA2200, I'm averaging 2,842 fps loaded to 2.295". At 100 yards 3 shot groups were between .800" and 1.100" for 3 strings. At 200 1.289" and 300 yards was 2.735". It's not the most accurate bullet out there out of my barrel, but the velocity was good and remained sub MOA out to 300 yards which is as far as my local range goes.

Oh, as I look over my reloading notes, 30gr of H322 was more accurate producing between .600" and .850" inch groups, but the velocity was a little slower at 2,810 fps.

I loaded some 100gr ABs with 30gr AA2200 in SSA brass with CCI 450 primers. Not a hot load at all. could go even maybe 31grs. But like always! Work up. I'm shooting a 18 inch WOA barrel that was a Hbar that I turned down to .730 under the hand guard. Cut the treads off and recrowned the barrel. Turned out to be a 17 1/4 inch barrel. It's a 6 grove with a 1 in 11 twist. I shot a little pig that I ambushed at a water hole. Little hole going in and about a quarter size hole on the exit side just behind the ear. The pig was DRT. I'm getting about 1 inch at 100 with a 4 power Acog. IMG_0147.jpg

ETA I was running around 2835 FPS with that load

My son's 1st hog

100 gr. Nosler AB.
29.5 gr. RL 10x
SSA brass
CCI 450 primer

This load shoots noticably flatter than my previous 110 gr. Sierra PH over H322 load. POI was 5 in. higher with the 100 gr. AB and RL 10x

I've also got a 16" RRA Coyote Carbine upper that I'm shooting 100gr Accubonds out of. I'm shooting 30.5gr of X-Terminator and my gun is shooting just under 1" and that's with a 1.75-6x32 VX3 on it. I'm confident it would shoot better than this with a higher power scope, but it's short range hunting rifle and that's good enough for me. I tested 29, 29.5, 30, 30.5, and 31 grains and it shot 30.5" the best by far. I haven't had a chance to further tune the load but don't really need to, it's a 250 yard hunting gun and it's plenty accurate for that right now. One of my buds has the exact same upper and we were actually shooting it today with my loads and his gun produced very similar 3/4" or so groups with it. I'm running SSA brass, WSR primers, and have a COL of 2.265.

I shot two deer in the last two years with this load. First was a 30 yard shot completely broadside heart shot. It of course exited and produced a 50 cent piece exit hole and the deer went about 30 yards with a trail that Ray Charles could have followed. Second deer was a doe that was broadside at a lasered 286 yards quartering away. I took her behind the last rib on her close side, and it quartered forward and smashed the far side shoulder blade and lodged just under the skin on the far side. When I removed the slug it weighed 94 grains and she looked like she was filled with red jello inside. I don't have a pic but the slug looked pretty much like the pic in buddy's post on the first page.

Tested ou some 100gr accu bonds with 2200 with wolf mag primers OAL 2.260 .
Used stag 5H upper on new frontier lower, Bushnell Baner 3x9 scope
Weather mid 70`s 15 mile wind steady.
4 different loads 29, 29.5, 30, 30.5 .
Range was packed ( pre deer season crazy crowd ) and someone with a 50 barrett.
Primers on all rounds looked good no over pressure signs.
30gr 2200 keep the best group.

Just got back from the range. Temp was in the high 30's. 100gr Accubond, 30.0gr of AA2200, SSA brass, CCI 41 primers, and 2.26" length looks like my hunting load. It's right at 2800 fps from my 16" Ko-Tonics lightweight with no pressure signs. I could go a little higher but groups opened up. I still need to do another test batch to see what OAL is best.
