My son took his first whitetail yesterday evening. A 100 pound doe. He shot her at a lasered 150 yards with a little 6.8 SPC that I built last month. He hit her a little high but she dropped right where she stood. She tried to get back up but a second shot (probably not needed) with my home-rolled 110 gr TSX's ended the story. It was an enjoyable evening to say the least with me and my wife in the box stand with him.

I always think "we are building memories" when I am out with my kids hunting, fishing, camping, etc...

Exellent! Be careful taking that kiddo hunting. Mine grew up, quit college and is a hunting guide in Idaho.

So whats the problem :D
